Come Gather Give Thanks

This is a Thanksgiving decoration that I made using vinyl from Shannon Staker Vinyl. Go Here to check out more of her designs. She is great to work with!

{Alish}

I am a Chld of God Board

I love how this project turned out. It was way easy and looks great in my daughter's room. I got the vinyl from Staker Sensations. I got the small size of vinyl which is only $4.00! I picked up a board that was already painted at Craft Warehouse. Then I cut some paper and modge podged it on the sides. After that I hot glued some ribbon on and then just added my vinyl to the middle! Super easy!

Sammi May Giveaway!

Sammi May has the some of the cutest baby items in its Etsy shop! Us Sisters are totally in baby mode around here and love her stuff!! Even if you don't have a
baby these make cute and unique baby shower gifts!

I received this bib and burp cloth set. It's unique style is designed to hang around the neck with the closure in the front. The cotton allows for 2 bibs with the reverse, terry cloth allows for another 2, totaling 4 individual bib faces.

I love that the closure is in the front so that it makes it hard for the baby to just pull down and rip the bib off.
Check out these tiny shoes and hair clip! Girls are so fun with all their accessories! Sammi May also makes shoes in different colors and patterns.
Who doesn't love these minky blankets?! They are so soft and cuddly!

I am so excited about this product and to giveaway a Mini Clutch Set to one of our readers!!!
My daughter LOVES makeup!! Whenever I put on my makeup she is right there with me helping me the whole time and making a total mess! I have been searching for "play makeup" and have been having a tough time finding anything that looks like the real thing, until I found this-Mini Play Makeup! It is darling and looks as real as my makeup and makeup case. The best part is that there is NO MESS!!!

My daughter loves it! Perfect for your girls for CHRISTMAS!!
Here is a little bit about the product:
Mini-Play Makeup® is pretend play makeup, that looks and feels like real makeup, but it’s NOT REAL, making it 100% MESS-FREE MAKEUP! Our toy "makeup" is made of non-toxic materials that won't even rub off on your finger! It's amazing how many people look at their finger after touching our products because they look and feel incredibly real. Real cosmetic brushes, liquid-free nail polish, and lip stick have been added to our line of shadows, blushes, and compacts, to enhance the most creative play time with pretend makeup. Try it for yourself. Play makeup has never looked or felt so real!

Baked Ziti

This is an easy go to recipe that I got from an old ward cookbook.

Baked Ziti

½ pound ziti pasta
¼ diced onion
1 T olive oil
½ tsp. rosemary
2 cloves garlic
½ pound ground beef
1 jar spaghetti sauce
salt to taste
3 oz. provolone cheese sliced
½ c. sour cream
½ c. cottage cheese
½ pkg. mozzarella cheese
2 T Parmesan cheese

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes (until done)and drain.

Meanwhile, heat olive oil in large skillet over medium heat. Cook onion until tender. Stir in rosemary and garlic. Transfer to a small bowl.

Cook ground beef in skillet over med-high heat until evenly brown. Stir in the onion mixture and the spaghetti sauce. Season with salt. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Layer ½ of the cooked pasta, provolone cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, and a little less than ½ of the meat mixture. Then layer the rest of the pasta, mozzarella cheese, remaining meat mixture, and the Parmesan cheese. Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes.

* My notes from the original recipe:
I usually don't add in any sour cream.
I usually use dried onion and garlic.
