Halloween Activity Days

This past week we had a Halloween themed Daddy/Daughter Date. It turned out to be so much fun. Here are the details.

We had the girls and their dads dress up in costumes. When they arrived we took pictures of the girls with their dads and had them decorate picture frames from the dollar store.

Then we played a few games.

Oozing eyeballs

Using a peeled hard-boiled egg as your "oozing eyeball", play this Halloween variation on the classic Hot Potato game. Have players sit in a circle, and pass the oozing eyeball until the music or menacing howls stop. The player left holding the eyeball when the music stops is out. Keep passing the egg until only one player is left.

Catch the Candy Corns

Guests are divided into teams or pairs and one wears the pumpkin while the others try to get as many candy corns in the pumpkin as they can. Adapt for any age group.

Guess How many candy corns are in the Jar

Everyone guesses how many candy corns are in the jar closest to the right answer wins.

Shaving Cream and Cheese Puffs

Each girl put shaving cream all over her face then her dad had to throw cheese puff and have them stick to the shaving cream. The one who had the most Cheetos stuck to her face after 30 seconds won.

The winners of the games got to choose a bat or mummy candy bar. (featured above)

For DESSERT we had Dirt Cake with worms and root-beer.

Click here for my Dirt Cake recipe. It is the same one I use for my son's birthday party.
