Almost Free Colors Book

I made this colors book for my little guy to start learning his colors. And the best part was it did not cost me a thing. I used Micky Mouse paint samples from the home improvement store and I already had the metal ring and the ribbons were from my scrapbook stash.

  4. Genius! My son needs this so much! It was part of his IEP goal for the year to be able to identify his colors, and we haven't gotten there and time is running out. Thank you so much!

  6. And if you get two sets, you can use them as a memory matching game. And for older preschoolers (4-5 yr olds) you can have them match the color tile with a word card that has the color name. To start off, write the color name in the actual color..then, progress to all the names written in black so you know they are recognizing the actual word

  11. I did this, but as a memory game. My kids loved the Mouse heads. The super nice thing is, when they loved them to death, I could easily replace them.

  15. So cute and so simple! I wish they had those paint samples in Australia! I suppose I could cut them out of normal paint chips.
